Tour Edge Golf BJHRGA10 Mrh Jmax Gold Iron-Wood Pw A-Flex Graphite $59.99 Crown pull casting technology creates a stronger more dense body so the walls and face can be made thinner to get more spring off the face and place more mass in the sole. The face is made as thin as possible with variable face thickness and structurally supported with three internal reinforcement bars. The Gold s heavy 125 gram sole creates one of the lowest centers of gravity available in an iron. The result even off-center hits fly longer and more accurate for lower scores. Crown-pull casting technology allows additional weight to be added to the sole for higher flying shots. The topline is designed to seamlessly mix and match with other Bazooka irons for a perfect compliment to any set. Pw A-Flex Graphite. |

Each Iron, from the Pitching Wedge up through the set to the 3-iron (or 2-iron if you are brave), will present you with a slightly increased challenge. As you go up through the set each club you use will have a slightly longer shaft and slightly less loft. It will be harder to get the ball onto a good trajectory, off the sweet spot. If only the mid-irons could be as easy to strike as the 8-iron and if only the 3-iron could be as easy as the 6-iron.
Actually if you were tracking the results of your performance with each of your Irons, that is exactly what you are searching for. Longer irons, mid irons and short irons all hit with a consistency that will bring greater confidence to your game.
That is the challenge that the Iron designers are now confronting in the search to bring you more enjoyment and improved performance for the average golfer. They have addressed the 3 and 4-iron by replacing them with hybrids, but what about the rest of the set? So now we have the emergence of the Hybrid-Irons.
These are clubs that merge the technology of the Hybrid with that of a more conventional Iron with the weighting of that merge (Hybrid & Iron) swinging more to Hybrid as you go up through the set and more to Iron as you use the shorter clubs.
The Tour Edge Bazooka JMax IronWood is the logical extension of the way that the design is moving.
This club has a Hybrid appearance right through the set, which is unconventional, but it works.
The lower, deeper CoG means that consistency is dramatically improved through the set.
Actually the design is real breakthrough, using 2 piece super-thin cast body that allows a massive 120g of weight to be placed in the sole. That’s design working for you.
The starting point of any decision on golf clubs though remains your swing and your game. The nice thing about this technology is that it brings far greater consistency to your Iron play through the set. But we first need to make sure that your problem is consistency and that this technology will solve or improve it.
