Does anyone know about antique golf clubs?

hi,i have a st andrews golf co ltd 1wood c1920s.i am not sure if the shaft is original though.its steel and its a true temper dynalite.the ageing looks right.also the grip is a bit suspect,its a black hard plastic/rubber avon golf pride pro-only grip.this is also well worn,but should it be brown leather?please help !!scoured the internet for hours to try and find a photo of one similar with no joy.

You should take it to a pawn shop, they will know what it is worth or they will be able to find someone that does. The steel shaft was implemented in the late 1920′s so it is possible that the club has a steel shaft. I assume that the grip could is newer, reason being most golfers do not keep a grip for very long so the chances of it having an original grip are low.
