The product itself takes a little practice. You really do have to follow the directions (shampoo and condition first); I do all that at the beginning of my shower, add the glaze on leg-shaving days so it’s on there longer, and rinse at the end.
You have to rinse a LOT to get it all out, or your hair looks greasy. On a busy day, this is easily remedied by working talcum powder into your hair. The next shampoo will take care of it.
This glaze is non-damaging and gives my cool-toned medium brown hair just enough spice. I’m extremely frugal and never dreamed of paying more than [...] bucks for anything that goes on my hair, but I keep coming back for more!
I have used this product for several years and been happy with it. It can not be found locally any more. I’m happy I can order it on line and buy in quanity.
It works well to keep that red tint in my hair. Redhead’s color fades faster than any other color.
My hair gets dull or too yellow-orange looking without this glaze.

What to do about deep red pimples under the skin?
I usually have pretty good skin, but every once and a while I will get a couple big red deep pimples under the skin. They never come to a head, so I can’t pop them. I’m on the pill, and this used to prevent them, but hasn’t been lately. I wear make up but I wash my face every night and morning with the Clinique 3 step system. What can you do for these types of pimples? And is there something I can do to prevent them?
I’m having the same problem as you. as far as I know, other than washing your face regularly you can’t really prevent them. But I find that holding a hot compress (really hot) helps bring down the swelling and the pain, and using a good astringent (i use clean and clear) on the site of the pimple will take down the redness. Keep doing that a couple times a day and it should be gone in a few days
