I had read about the Srixon and liked the traditional appearance, the driver head had a nice shape to it, not square or elongated, more like the Titleist pear shape – it also uses SP 700 titanium face. Can’t say much about performance –never did hit well. It’s been in the garage for a while now – -the shaft might be worthwhile.

Why is the head of a driver different from a putter? I mean like, roundish head vs. squarish?

Why is the head of a driver round and the putter rectangular? How does it affect game play? Any concepts related to it? Can you please try explaining? =D
Why would it be that the ball would go further with a larger swing?

Well not all drivers are round. Nike makes some drivers that are square. They do that because with a round head, it maximizes your swing speed. The quicker your swing speed, the farther you wll hit the golf ball. On a square head it is also a lot easier to hit the ball square on in the sweet spot.
