Acer XDS Insider Titanium Driver – Custom Assembled $89.95 Of late, the USGA has been putting all sorts of rules and restrictions on club head design to prevent that very situation from occurring. This is why designers have to be more creative in designing clubs. One method is to design clubs around the way average golfers swing, rather than creating perfect clubs and expecting golfers to swing that way. The most common tendency is when a golfer comes over the top and makes an outside-in move evident by most shots off the tee resulting into a push, fade or the dreaded slice. A Golf Digest article Add 42 Yards Now explained that if you were able to change to more of an inside-out movement a golfer who swung 95 mph could gain as much as 42 yards. Of course, this would require a huge change in how the person swings the club and let’s face it most golfers are not going to be able to put in that time and effort. But through creating design features in the club head, the golfer can be encouraged to make more of an inside path. This is how the Acer XDS Insider got its name. The profile of the head as well as the contour on the crown was specifically designed to create a mental picture of swinging from the inside to encourage one to swing the driver on an inside-out swing path instead of that dreaded distance robbing over-the-top move. The XDS Insider also helps you in other ways. Internal weighting creates a draw bias shifting weight toward the heel to assist in rotating the head and squaring the face at impact. The face angle is a little more closed than normal to provide some additional corrective measures but cleverly disguised by the masking on the crown to provide a square appearance so they can just trust their natural swing. Lastly, the Acer XDS Insider also boasts a variable face thickness, cup face design to make the entire club face becomes one gigantic sweet spot and ensure all the distance possible. Driver Headcover

To the non golfer, golf club covers can be seen as a strange thing. When a passionate golf lover talks about covers, they are meaning the sock like covers put on the longer golf clubs.
This normally applies to the woods. At the same time the concept of golf club covers can also extend to all of the other clubs as its becoming popular as custom styled versions are being made.
The golf club covers do a lot to protect your clubs. They protect them in the rain and damp weather also providing another option for professionals to place advertising. If you place your golf bag down in freshly cut grass, the golf club covers will keep the grass from getting on the clubs.
They also protect each clubs as they create a buffer of protection stopping the clubs banging into each other. It used to be that golf club covers were simple items that looked like socks and just had the number of the club on them.
There was no difference in the covers between the low cost golf clubs and the more expensive sets. Soon golfers started to express their style and personality and whole new industry was born, a lot like custom cars, but for golfers!
It has been happening for a while now. Your large gorilla type friend from work would put a king kong golf cover on his driver because he felt it showed a lot of power about his golf game.
Sometimes the covers would come in sets of puppets and they would have entire families to use on clubs that would express the players personality, and bring a little fun to this competitive and sometimes, challenging game.
Then, someone came along that changed it all and caused an increase in sales of golf club covers worldwide. That was Tiger Woods.
Enter Tiger and Frank
Tiger Woods arrived on the golf scene as an amateur and made a serious impact very quickly. It did not take long for people to start to notice his golf club cover was a tiger.
Quickly the sales of tiger driver covers increased and people all over the world were showing off their Tiger Woods’ driver cover and adding style to the game. What came next was unexpected. We learned that the cover had a name and could talk.
Tiger Woods’ driver cover is called Frank and due to a series of television commercials a few years ago, everyone got to see Frank talk and give Tiger advice on his game. It was all in good entertainment a growing industry, which now has a little more fun in it.
So if you are looking for more fun in your golf game, especially when you last shot sliced of to the left, look to get some custom golf covers. Who knows you may even be able to manage a smile, when you put you wood away and start the long walk to look for your ball.

where can I buy a custom golf club headcover of myself?
I want to have a golf club headcover made for my driver that looks like me. Similar to what Ian Puolter has.
Received the Golf Tour Z5 set today & having tried them, I am really pleased & wish to compliment you for producing such great value clubs:
Great clubs – The clubs played better than the genuine ones; unbelieviable, but true !
Great price – The price is incredible – almost a third of the price of G5s!
Great service- As the shaft I ordered was not available, I was automatically given an upgraded version !
All in all, very pleased !

Just a note to say that I am very pleased with my XL8 irons which you fitted with the lightweight stepless steel shafts and delivered within four days.
Custom built to fit my height , I find them very easy to hit and reliably straight. I have gained a good ten yards and, coincidence or perhaps new confidence, I cut five strokes three games on the trot.
I am really glad I didn’t pay well over double for the big name, because I can’t believe they could be any better.

The utility club arrived on 8th Sept. Thank you very much for the prompt service.
I have played a few shots with it and I’m quite impressed.

I used my new T9000 utilities today and yesterday and found them excellent, very easy to hit with consistent direction.
They look superb – compared them to a friend’s Taylor Made dual utility and they seem virtually identical. I kept the weights neutral, which seems to produce a nice draw. I yet may experiment with a heavier weight in the toe but having said that, playing a fade was not difficult. Your custom fitting service was a real bonus as I am 6′ 4″ and standard clubs are too short. I also liked having a choice of grip.
I cannot understand why anyone would fork out £140 each for the Tailor Made dual utilities on which mine are based, or indeed any other heavily marketed brand, especially as they are not even custom fitted. Maybe they have a magic ingredient (snob value?), but I can’t imagine what could improve on your clubs. Nick – Argyll

I received excellent service from start to finish with UK Custom Golf. From the initial email noting my interest through the fitting, the collection and finally the first game with the new clubs! I played for the first time with the clubs (XL-8 irons, T-9000 woods + utility and a two ball putter with steel insert) and I must say they were excellent. They gave a very positive feel and I’ve been assured that they feel just like the branded counterparts by owners of the branded counterparts! I have since recommended UK custom Golf to other people who will hopefully be able to enjoy the same level of service and quality of clubs as I have. I will definitely be returning to UK Custom Golf when it’s time for replacements but judging by the quality of the product could be a long time!
Thanks again

Hi everyone at Uk Custom Golf,
I would like this opportunity to thank you for your fantastic service and for the quality of your golf irons. I bought from you the XP6 Irons for my Husband about six weeks ago. They were delivered as promised on time and very securely packaged. My Husband has been using Callaway tungsten titanium oversized irons for 7 years which cost him at the time about £1,200. He said that these Irons that you custom fit for him are amazing value and to play with they feel so much nicer than the Callaway’s. My Brother and Friends are so impressed with them that they are thinking about buying a set each off you. Thank you once again amazing set of Irons.
Yours sincerely,
J Hardiman. Hereford.

Thank you, my new clubs arrived safe and sound – very exciting ! I took them out and had a round (of golf as well as beers) and they are brilliant. I’m very pleased with them.
They are now resting cosily in their “hats” in my golf bag, after their tiring day !
