Lost 40 yards in distance with new driver?

Just recently purchased the new G15 Ping driver. i hit the Cobra F speed for 3 years an avg of 290 yards. Im only hitting the Ping 240-250. The new Ping has a Voodoo xtra stiff shaft, Cobra had just stiff. can anyone give me some input on this? My swing speed is consistently 105 mph and up. i know I need to take it in and get it fitted, but thought i would give this a try too. Any opinions appreciated.

if you average 290 off the tee why even consider switching drivers? Tour average is in the 260-270 range, why? why?why?
