No display on the edges on my LCD TV?

I have a Radeon HD 5770 with hdmi output and i am connecting it to my 40″ FULL HD LCD TV via hdmi to watch movies. I can see my full desktop but all 4 edges are black(about half a inch) and resolution on my comp is set to 1920X1080, How can i get it fullscreen display.
