Fairways are designed to be used when the ball is in play after the tee shot on the fairway but many recreational golfers prefer to use the more lofted 3 or 4 wood off the tee for better control, as fairways usually have smaller heads than compared to drivers it can easier to control your swing.

What is the best fairway wood for me?
I have men’s length clubs. I’m a 20 handicap. My bday is coming up and i want to get a new wood. Idk what brand and type would be the best for me. I dont care about adding distance so much as easier to hit and improved accuracy. Maybe a higher launch angle. Nothing more than $220 cost wise. Thanks for the help! (and also i don’t want hybrids that just substitute for irons, i’m talking actual fairway woods.)
