Vintage sword or not?
hey guys, im looking to buy this “vintage” sword on ebay. but im not sure if its really vintage. it looks old and its got some chinese writing on it, and the tint and blade wear looks like 50 years old. there isnt any markings other than the chinese writings except the number 40127. It’s a samurai sword. and idk if 40127 is a type of metal or something? the guy says its solid steel forged with some nicks. so if anyone can help me authenticate this as vintage please comment, thanks.

this looks a lot like these “antique” swords i found in china town. they would make a new sword and let it rust a lot to make it look like it had a lot of wear and tear and then they sold it as an antique.
