how can i remove the head of a graphite golf club and still use the shaft and head?

i need to remove the head of the golf club my self and still be able to attach the head to another shaft and use the old graphite shaft in another project.

A bow saw (home depot, $10 bucks) will do it just fine. I use graphite golf shafts for all my Amtgard weapons. You might have to sand the end down a bit just to be safe.
