Skilled Will Appreciate Callaway FT Irons Review

Callaway offers golfers a group of irons that’s designed for people that are looking to boost their game. The Callaway FT irons are thought to be Fusion Technology irons that appeal to mid to low handicap players. Head Shape: These irons feature a new head shape which has a thin top line and higher toe together with less offset. The look of the FT irons is more standard, but the set includes many technological inventions. These FTs are sold at discount golf prices around the Halloween and Christmas which is a very good chance to save money.

The FT Irons are Callaway’s 2008 line of technologically advanced golf clubs. Golfers have their choice of graphite, steel, or Dynalite shafts. The end of the shaft is tip-plugged at the bottom of the hosel to reduce vibration upon impact. Along with very little vibration, the titanium face gives a soft, yet solid, feel at impact as well. When compared with most other clubs, these Callaway FT irons are narrower at the top, longer in the blade, and weighted slightly more in the toe and heel, which produces a well designed, strong lofted club. The FT Irons incorporate tunite alloy into the perimeter of the club, which is a metal that is denser than stainless steel or titanium.

High to mid handicap players will enjoy the clean feel and look upon address with these FT irons. They hit very straight and have great forgiveness against poor strikes. Because they are designed to be strong lofted clubs, you will receive more altitude and soft landings with every shot. Due to that loft design, you may end up sacrificing a little distance for accuracy, but choosing a lower numbered club is not a problem unless you let your ego get in the way. Lower handicap players will appreciate the improved accuracy as well. The Callaway FT irons are about 1/2 inch shorter than most clubs, but it is Callaway’s intentional design to compensate for the way the club head is weighted.
