UFC 115 is scheduled for June 15, 2010 in Vancouver, Britch Columbia, Canada at the General Motors Place venue. Cincinnati was rumored to be a contender for hosting the event because there were logistical issues with fighting in British Columbia, but Dana White was able to work out the issues and schedule the fight in BC, Canada. The main fight for UFC in Liddell vs Franklin. This event sent a UFC record by selling out within 30 minutes of the tickets going on sale, this record was previously held by UFC 83. Watch UFC 115.

Originally Chuck Liddell was scheduled to fight Tito Ortiz. Both fighters were Ultimate Fighter coaches this season, former UFC Light Heavyweight, and have had two previous UFC bouts. Tito Ortiz withdrew from the match to have surgery on his neck. After Tito Ortiz withdrew from the event Rich Franklin was chosen to fight Chuck Liddell. Franklin was originally schedule to fight Randy Couture but this fight will take place later in 2010.

Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch will not be having their long awaited rematch just yet, that Fight was moved to UFC 117. Ben Rothwell vs Gilbert Yvel has replaced the Tyson Griffin vs Evan Dunham fight on the main card. Tyson Griffin and Evan Dunham will still fight but it will be aired on the preliminaries on Spike TV. Just like UFC 111, UFC 115 will be showing in Movie Theaters around the USA. Other fights on the main card include a heavyweight bout with Croatia Mirko Filipović vs. United States Patrick Barry, two welterweight bouts; Brazil Paula Thiago vs Denmark Martin Kampmann and United States Carlos Condit vs Canada Rory MacDonald. The Spike TV preliminary car includes the Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham fight and the United States Mac Danzig and United States Matt Wiman.
