Are baby cucumbers the same as long big cucumbers? Do they taste different?

I bought four baby cucumbers instead of the usual long one. I can use them for salads right?

Please excuse my naive questions, I had someone answer another question of mine asking why I ask such simple things but I honestly am learning right now as I live on my own as a college student. Thanks for any advice.

They are different usually the smaller cucumbers are used for pickling. They do however taste the just like a cucumber but a little stronger taste than the large ones. They are fine to use in a salad. I have before.
