Warm Colors
If you are aware of color psychology, you would know that colors have a great influence on our state of mind. For example, looking at cool colors like blue and green can relax our mind, while surrounded by warm colors such as red, brown, maroon and orange can make us feel very active and energetic. Since, living room is the place where we entertain our guests, socialize, watch TV, and spend time together as a family, it makes sense to use warm paint colors for living rooms, which add lots of vibrancy to the surroundings.

When painting living room, there are two things that you should always keep in mind. Firstly, the size of the room and secondly the height of the ceiling. how do i move african chiclid eggs from slate to a plastic breeder tank ???
last week my chiclids had about 200 fry, and in 4 days they were all dead(eaten). now they’ve had more eggs and i want to move them into a plastic floating tank so they’ll be safe. there are 200+ tiny eggs laid on a piece of horozontal slate. last time i used the hose from the gravel vacuum to suck them up when they were fry, but i’m wondering if i try to do that to the eggs if it will break them open(are they “glued” to the slate?) also, i’m not sure what kind of chiclid the parents are. they are red/maroon w/ shiny green/blue scales scattered on them. they also have a large black dot or two in each side of their bodies(along their lateral line). they are pretty tall but not fat. also, with them breeding so much, does anyone know if it would be a good idea to sell them to petshops(not as a big-buck buisness, of course)
COngrats, you now have a rather large breeder tank. You DONT move the eggs you move the adults. If the eggs are exposed to air their is a significant chance they were just instantly killed. Out 500 eggs if you try to move them with house hold equipment, if your lucky you will have 10 that survive.
How ever my mother suggests you use something to devide the tank. Leave the eggs on one half, and the adults on the other. Make sure that the fish cant get to the other side, the fry or the adults. CHeck your local store, they may have ready made dividers. Or you can get a peice of glass or plexi-glass and glue that in place in the middle. How ever this is where it becomes difficult.
You need to get a sealer thats non-toxic AND will seal and apply while submerged. This can again be done by visiting your local pet or hardware store. Another thing, you need to be able to clean the water on the fry side but you can afford to suck them up. So you either buy a sponge filter, or you put holes in your homemade divider and fill the holes with sponge, so your water gets through but your fry dont.
