Satisfaction From Ping G10 Driver Review

With the introduction of the Ping G2 driver in 2003, Ping made a tremendous move to improve the performance of their drivers while still satisfying players who desired a more traditional shape and feel. In 2007, the Ping’s all titanium driver, the Ping G10 driver has been introduced to the market to sit along side its composite brother, the Rapture which was another hot sale on the golf wholesale market.

The G10 driver is engineered with a cast body and fully machined face from high-grade 6-4 titanium. The Ping G10 driver 460cc club head features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown that produces a higher moment-of-inertia for greater forgiveness and increased ball velocity. Using finite element analysis driven by a Cray Supercomputer, company engineers optimized the crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. Thinner crown and face designs provided discretionary weight which was positioned inside the club head to lower the center of gravity for reduced spin and higher launch. Ping’s patented variable face thickness technology produces a thin, highly responsive hitting surface for increased ball velocity and greater consistency across the face. GOLF SHAFTS- Any comparisons between a Fujikara Fit-On M Red shaft and a Graffaloy Prolaunch Red?

How about a Graffaloy Prolaunch Blue 45?

The Fuji M Red is a shaft made specifically for Cleveland. In order to compare the two, you actually have to go to Cleveland’s website, as the Graffaloys you mentioned are offered as a premium shaft. I play Cleveland drivers, and have both a Launcher and Hi-Bore XLS. I found the Hi-Bore to require the Graffaloy Red, but can play the Fuji Red with the Launcher. Assuming you are buying a Cleveland Club, I would try the Fuji since it is the standard. If you find the flight path too high, you can always have the Graffaloy put on.
