Callaway ERC Fusion Driver Review
Callaway Golf has created a powerful chemical reaction with the introduction of the Callaway ERC Fusion Driver. This driver’s explosive distance is the result of our breakthrough Fusion Technology, which blends the best elements of titanium and carbon composite material into an exciting new mixture. Titanium and composite, power and precision, technology and playability ERC Fusion brings it all together.
“We believe the ERC Fusion Driver is the most technologically advanced driver ever made,” said Ron Drapeau, Chairman and CEO of Callaway Golf. “It is unlike any other driver on the market anywhere in the world. There are other metal woods that use both titanium and composite materials, but none of them integrates the full benefits of the two materials as extensively – and successfully – as the ERC Fusion Driver. This is not a titanium driver with a composite body, nor is it a composite driver with a titanium face. This is a unique driver made with Fusion Technology, and we believe golfers of all skill levels will enjoy the potential distance and forgiveness benefits of the ERC Fusion Driver.” A professional golfer said.
The Fusion is an innovative driver that combines a carbon composite body with a titanium cup face. Because of the lightweight properties of the carbon composite, Callaway is able to reposition 45 grams of weight around the perimeter of the club head for the ultimate in forgiveness. Callaway actually has the ability to move these weights around to increase draw or fade biases similar to Taylor Made’s R7, but this technology is not yet available to the public. The real highlight though is the fusion of carbon composite and titanium. This combination has proven so effective in manipulating the head weight that it has been copied in some form or another by nearly every Callaway competitor on the market.
ERC Fusion Drivers feature Callaway Golf’s new RCH System 55 graphite shaft in strong, firm, regular and light flexes. This lightweight shaft is 45 inches long, which is long enough to help produce exceptional clubhead speed while still delivering control and balance. For women, the new RCH System 50 graphite shaft is an inch shorter and even lighter. For golfers looking for more shaft options, ERC Fusion Drivers will also be available by special order with a number of popular after-market shafts factory-installed.
It has Mid-sized Driver with 360ccm Clubface for all type of Golfers. It can develop explosive distance. Good players should be able to add 15-20 yards of distance. The ERC Fusion Driver is a lightweight and is easy to swing with great workability and trajectory.

I have callaway X-12 iron with graphite shaft should I change my shaft?
I have callaway X-12 iron with graphite regular RCH 99 shaft should I change my shaft to steel shaft? my current score is about high 90s to low 100s. My friends told me my shots will be more consistent and i ‘ll have more distance…what do you guys think i should do?
Save the money and spend it on lessons. If the ball is continually going left on you, assuming you are right handed, then the shafts may be too flexible, otherwise there is no need. Get lessons and practice. Good luck.
