Different Types Of Caskets And Cremation Containers

How do I fix my bubbling polyurethane with out having to re-sand.?

I recently coated a redwood bench that I just finished sanding with Miniwax Highbuild Satin Polyurethane. I made the mistake of letting it sit in the sun and now I have all kinds of bubbles in the finish. Can anyone tell me what I can do to restore the bench. Will it take sanding or can I apply a stripper to remove the polyurethane and start again. Also can some recommend a product that will work in the outdoors. What a bummer my bench looked so good. Thanks for the help.

Steel wool will remove the bubbles. And most of the poly. Don’t get carried away and it will not hurt the finish.
The reason it bubbled was not the outdoors.
You applied it to thick…lots of light coats with in 2 hours of the last or wait 48 hours between coats.
You will not know you are putting it on thick until it starts to cure (dry)
And will look very good while wet…
The spray works really good to keep the heavy coats down…
